Prof. Fraser is the Director of the Wales Kidney Research Unit and the medical lead for the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at Cardiff, where many of our clinical trials are conducted.  Prof. Fraser has an established PhD supervisory record, and is also lead for the Wales Clinical Academic Training (WCAT) programme. He somehow also manages to see renal patients on occasion! Prof Fraser has a number of research interests, including peritoneal dialysis, microRNAs in renal diseases and biomarkers.
