Prof. Noyes is the WKRU lead based in North Wales and has research expertise in health and social services research and child health. Along with Dr Mclaughlin, they have recently completed a project exploring family experiences and impact of the “opt out” organ donation legislation in Wales. Other ongoing research areas include transition of adolescent renal patients to adult services, exploring gender issues in renal disease, social care needs of older people with chronic kidney disease and patient decision-making concerning treatment options in chronic kidney disease.
